Be more Janus

Janus, in Roman mythology, has two faces, each looking in different directions.

I’ve found myself giving the same advice to several clients: ’be more Janus’.

With one face: cover your risks. Use enterprise-grade technologies, bring people with you, implement controls and look before you leap. Show your clients and partners that you’re taking AI seriously and being grown-up.

With the other face: don’t wait, do it now, innovate, make time for AI playtime and take risks. Open an AI lab, try things out, make mistakes, unleash your mavericks and see what happens.

Janus also represented the idea that everything has a beginning and an end, and that transitions are a natural part of life. I’ll take that. Thanks Janus.
